"Formerly the celebrity haunt 101 Coffee Shop, this diner kept much of its mid-century charm when it transitioned to its current iteration in 2021. Located at the foot of the Adler hotel in Hollywood, it still has a menu categorized by greasy spoon staples, including a behemoth all-day breakfast list kicked up with griddle classics like a crisp almond-flour-blend waffle and challah French toast; omelets and two-egg plates; bagel platters; and Angeleno-coded dishes such as chilaquiles and huevos rancheros. The morning and late-night hours might be the busiest but if you go between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. expect a slower, family-friendly environment with kids poring over whipped-cream-topped milkshakes and coloring paper. Lunch and dinner wouldn’t be complete without an order of buffalo wings, which are twice the size of any other chicken wing in Los Angeles and liberally sauced. Pair those with an old-school tuna or patty melt, Cobb salad, or Reuben, and you’ll get the full experience." - Eater Staff
