"I'm reporting that the SoCal chain Midici, which slings Neapolitan pizzas, will open its newest outpost on January 15 at 7825 Firefall Way in Preston Hollow Village on the ground floor of the new Douglas luxury apartment building; its October debut was delayed for unknown reasons. This will be the brand's third local outpost (joining Addison and Euless) after a short-lived Uptown West Village location that closed after nine months, and the brand operates dozens of locations across the U.S. and one in Saudi Arabia. The menu will feature thin-crust pies with toppings such as prosciutto, truffles, pepperoni, shrimp scampi, and chicken pesto, alongside meatballs, garlic bread, charcuterie boards, salads, and desserts like gelato and a Nutella calzone; a certified cicerone curated a beer selection and the spot will also offer wine and coffee. Stay tuned for hours of operation." - Alaena Hostetter
