"I observed that the Tippling House, a neighborhood wine bar, launched a multi-course dinner series this fall with chef Sean Clinton that continues into November on Wednesdays and Thursdays; for $65 guests who reserve a space are guaranteed at least five shared plates (and sometimes a few more). The evening usually starts with a dressed oyster and proceeds to dishes like roast chicken with crispy chickpeas, delicate seared fish with roasted cauliflower, and stuffed pastas. Owner Matt Conway created the dinners to showcase food-friendly wines on the list, and staff can steer you toward a glass or half bottle to pair with each course." - Erin Perkins
