"This newer winery produced its first vintage in 2021, and its Newberg tasting room made its debut in summer 2024. You won’t find unusual varietals here — the winery mostly sticks to pinot noir and chardonnay — but the wines are created with elegance, balance, and ageability in mind. The tasting room features Mount Hood views, as well as a restorative Japanese garden thanks to the landscape design by Hoichi Kurisu, who has had a hand in shaping Japanese gardens all over the country, including the Portland Japanese Garden. Taste a flight of five wines, or book a food and wine pairing experience. Visits are by appointment only, Thursday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m." - Katherine Chew Hamilton
