"Subject to numerous sexual-harassment complaints dating back to 2010, this national breakfast and family-dining chain has had multiple federal lawsuits brought against franchise owners; one pending EEOC class-action, filed on behalf of 11 employees, targets two Illinois franchise locations owned by Khalid Ramadan and alleges severe misconduct such as a manager threatening violence to coerce sex and repeated groping by another manager. Complainants contend local management ignored or condoned the behavior; some cases have settled while others remain in arbitration or federal court.
