"A sweet and savory switcheroo in the southwest has replaced the bright-as-its-name Hot Pink Tea House with a comfortable new eatery serving high tea and creative desserts. La Luna Tea & Dessert takes over the space at the Southwest Marketplace, close to the intersection of Rainbow Bluebeard and Windmill Lane. The full La Luna menu includes a wealth of Asian-inspired beverages, including cheese foam creations, milk teas, boba options, plus Western favorites, red velvet lattes and a pistachio frappe. Among the desserts, a bunny-shaped “Rabbit Q Pudding,” “sea salt molten cake,” waffles, “baked sago fresh taro pudding” and the molded, chocolate, puppy mousse. Customers who want to extend their stay can also enjoy croissants and toasted panini, or the pair of “High Tea Service” options designed for two people, featuring assortments of deserts, tarts, macarons, scones, ice cream, a savory dish and drinks." - Bradley Martin
