"After opening in 2017 at Gotham West Market, I learned that Corner Slice is calling it quits in the city: owner Mike Bergemann will reopen by spring 2024 in a standalone Maplewood, New Jersey spot. The new location at 419 Boyden Avenue (near Jacoby Street) will have 18 seats inside and a large outdoor garden, focus on the New York square pie, and offer a tight everyday menu supplemented by daily pizza specials and weekly sandwich specials on bread baked in-house; the last day in NYC will be November 18." - Melissa McCart
