"Acadiana, a Louisiana fish house-inspired restaurant by Passion Food Hospitality group, will close after 13 years of serving gumbo and po’boy sandwiches. It has been known for its live jazz brunch, happy hours, and popular dishes like blackened swordfish, beer-battered soft shell crabs with ricotta dumplings, flaky hand pies, and garlicky charbroiled oysters. The venue will serve its last oyster on December 31 due to lease termination, but there is a possibility of reopening nearby. The restaurant features a 4,000-square-foot space with two large banquet rooms." - Tierney Plumb
