"Biryani is one of those dishes that, for some reason, I can never really remember what it tastes like between the times that I’m eating it. I know I like it, but I just can’t conceptualize the taste in my mind. (Same goes for rhubarb. No clue why.) The biryani from Zam Zam, a Pakistani and Indian restaurant in Medford Square, finally broke the cycle for me; it’s an unforgettable version that’s packed with flavor and comfort.
