"In 2018, owners Biboy Cruz and Cereb Gregorio, owners of Kusina Luntian in Baler (a surf spot northeast of the city), opened a version of their surf town restaurant in Manila, rebranding it Gubat. The restaurant serves binalot, meals of rice in banana leaves, in a small bonsai garden where eating with your hands is encouraged.
