"After acquiring Grub Burger earlier this year, Austin-based burger chain Hopdoddy Burger Bar is preparing to open its first location in Atlanta this fall. Opening October 4, Hopdoddy Burger Bar takes over the Grub Burger on Briarcliff Road, which closes September 24 for a quick renovation. Additional Hopdoddy locations to open in metro Atlanta next year. Billed as an eco-friendly, craft burger restaurant using humanely and sustainably raised beef and chicken, Hopdoddy features a menu of classic double stacks with cheese and more elaborate burgers like the Birria topped with chorizo and a Oaxaca cheese quesadilla. The menu also includes a bison burger as well as chicken, mushroom, and vegan burgers, along with a handful of fry options like nacho, parmesan truffle, and green chile queso.
