B-52 Brewery Owner Dies in Motorcycle Accident | Eater Houston

"Launched in Houston in the summer of 2014 and located on six densely wooded acres just off Highway 105 near Conroe, this brewery — named one of Eater Houston’s essential 11 — produces a broad lineup including pilsner, stout, lager, wheat IPA, rye beers, and ales. Cofounder and brewmaster Chad Daniel, who worked alongside Brent Daniel to experiment with techniques like infusing casks with roasted coconut to create a mosaic-hopped wheat IPA, died in a motorcycle accident over the holidays; a Facebook announcement honored his immense passion for craft beer and his willingness to push outside the envelope.
