There’s a Champagne Bar Inside Eleve Cosmetics’ New Makeup Store in Austin | Eater Austin

"I learned that Elevé Cosmetics opened its first retail shop in Austin in March at 8916 Brodie Lane in South Austin, a stylish space designed by Studio Krewe Design. Owners Gertie Wilson and Ginger Averitt deliberately included an unexpected champagne bar inside their flagship, allowing guests to purchase bottles of wine—including champagne, rose, whites, reds, and Lambrusco—while browsing all-natural beauty products like lip glosses, mascaras, and foundations. Bottles can be purchased to-go with a 30 discount on the menu price; currently only whole bottles are available but the shop plans to add by-the-glass options as well as a selection of beers from Austin Beerworks. For non-drinkers there are coffee options such as espresso and lattes with almond milk, and themed treats like chocolate lipsticks from Maggie Louise Confections. Elevé is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday." - Nadia Chaudhury
