"I note that New Deal Café in Greenbelt, a 99-seat space, will have its kitchen operated by Pianta beginning July 1; the café will initially host Pianta’s Italian‑American inspired bar snacks, soups, and sandwiches (the same offerings from their Tastemakers stall) while Pianta develops a full menu to roll out by August that includes mushroom scampi, eggplant rollatini, pasta with "meatyballs" in marinara, and plant-based Italian pastries, cake, and cannoli, with future plans for brunch. Pianta will continue to operate its Tastemakers stall while running the New Deal kitchen, and service hours are set for Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m." - Lenore Adkins
