"Houston-raised chef Christian Hernandez, the former chef de cuisine of Michelin-star restaurant March, launched a Downtown tasting-menu concept focused on what he tells the Houston Chronicle is Houston-inspired cuisine blended with international flavors. Dishes include Texas Wagyu Denver steak, Vermillion snapper crudo, dry-aged duck, and a chocolate and pecan coulant with black tea ice cream. The tasting menu updates monthly and incorporates elements of African, Middle Eastern, and Japanese cuisines, with variations of courses offered a la carte. Wine pairings are $65 per person, cocktails were created by Kristine Nguyen of Captain Foxheart’s Bad News Bar, and the tasting menu itself is $125 per person." - Brittany Britto Garley
