Hillman City’s Beloved Slow Boat Tavern Is Closing - Eater Seattle

"Slow Boat Tavern, opened by Ken Provost in 2015, aimed to merge Capitol Hill classics The Comet and The Stumbling Monk, creating a blend of dive bar and Belgian ale house. Known for pouring top craft beers and building a community in Hillman City, the bar is closing as Provost doesn't own the building and decided to sell the business. The bar will be sold to new owners who will reopen it as Mimi, likely in the summer. Provost cites economic challenges such as inflation and supply-chain shortages as factors influencing the sale." - Harry Cheadle
