"Today marks opening day for Shake Shack’s first North County outpost, the inaugural sit-down restaurant at One Paseo; several other big-name eateries, including Salt & Straw Ice Cream and Tender Greens, with roll out in March, with openings continuing through the summer. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., the 2,898-square-foot eatery includes custom murals, tabletops made from reclaimed bowling alley lanes, and booths built with sustainable lumber; this location features a ping-pong table on a spacious wrap-around patio and is the first Shake Shack in San Diego to feature cashless kiosks in addition to its cashier stations. Frozen custard features in treats ranging from a Cherry Blossom seasonal shake to a Strawberry Sunset concrete made with vanilla custard, strawberry purée, rainbow sprinkles, and sugar cone, which is exclusive for One Paseo.
