"Widely regarded as one of LA’s better Japanese quick-service spots, this noodle specialty shop is slated to open in the Glendale Galleria on December 20. Expect the same cafeteria-style service found at the chain’s other LA locations: step up, pick a bowl, add toppings like tempura, then pay toward the end of the line. The menu will follow the familiar lineup with some seasonal variety, but no alcohol will be offered. The opening is part of a rapid regional expansion—this chain, founded in 2006 with over 1,000 worldwide locations, recently opened in the Beverly Center and is preparing additional Southern California outposts—bringing a cluster of locations to the area within a short period." - Mona Holmes
