Major Nashville Restaurant Group Closes Two Popular Weekend Haunts | Eater Nashville

"Located in the Gulch, I knew Whiskey Kitchen for its extensive selection of more than 100 whiskeys and for off‑menu spirit offerings; M Street Entertainment Group opened it 13 years ago. The group closed Whiskey Kitchen this week and indicated the closure is likely to pave the way for a new restaurant in that space when a hotel slated for the property is completed, expected in 2024. As with Tavern, employees were offered roles at other restaurants in the group's portfolio, the company said it is relocating 100 percent of former employees, and the move appears to be part of broader changes by the group, which also operates Kayne Prime, Moto, Saint Anejo, and Virago." - Clair Lorell
