"In the shared 30,000-square-foot venue at 1102 Grundy Street, I found Pins Mechanical Co. offers a wide range of entertainment, including 16 lanes of duckpin bowling (first-come, no bowling shoes required), 20 pinball machines, bocce ball, Connect Four, ping pong, and giant Jenga; it also serves more than 30 draft beers and 1950s counter-culture–themed cocktails. The combined space features three full bars (including an outdoor patio with a full 24-tap bar), three fire pits, a mezzanine with large skylights, garage-door openings for pull-in food trucks, and is pet-friendly both inside and out. Pins Mechanical Co. is part of a group with locations in Columbus, Cleveland, Dublin, Indianapolis and Cincinnati, with Charlotte coming later this year, and the Nashville location follows the venue's posted hours." - Delia Jo Ramsey
