"A second location of a popular Midtown Indian restaurant opened March 16 at the Modera complex along Pharr and Peachtree roads in Buckhead; owner Sandeep Kothary—who launched the original Midtown spot in 2013 and expanded its interiors three years ago—signed the lease prior to the pandemic. The menu largely mirrors the Midtown offerings but adds Buckhead-exclusive items such as rajasthani kharagosh (braised rabbit loin in a spicy tomato and onion sauce), baluchi murg tikka (spicy grilled chicken), and gobi mausallam (baked cauliflower in cashew gravy), served alongside well-loved dishes like duck confit samosas, butter chicken, and dal bukhara (ginger- and garlic-infused black lentils). Lunch includes thali specials, wraps, and salads. The space features a dining room, a large bar with high-top tables, a small private dining room, and a patio that the owner plans to make all-weather; the location is currently awaiting liquor license approval, after which themed cocktails (chai Old Fashioned, Delhi mule) plus Indian beers and wine will be available. Hours vary by day, masks are highly encouraged, and online takeout is offered." - Beth McKibben
