"Housed in a three-story industrial-chic space at 2915 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, Wilson Hardware (open since 2017) blends leaf-print walls and candle-lit vibes and has just unveiled a floral-filled facelift and menu changes. The restaurant and lounge — a tribute to the former Virginia Hardware — maintains three bars (a 27-foot-long quartz-top rail across the redesigned main level, a patio lounge, and a tile rooftop bar), added an indoor-outdoor garden terrace off the second level, and doubled its third-story rooftop (now with a retractable awning so it can stay open year-round), expanding capacity to about 350 inside and 150 out. Weekday happy hour (3 p.m. to 7 p.m.) features a $29 bottomless spread of sliders, fries, fried artichoke and more plus roughly $5 wines, beers, and cocktails; returning menu favorites include a relish-topped Hardware burger on brioche and steak frites, while new dishes include truffle hanger steak, a quinoa salad with shrimp, a dip trio, and caprese or short-rib sandwiches. The redesign was led by partner Walid Zeytoun with co-owners Alex Haje, Faris Ghareeb and Jad Bouchebel and executed by women-owned Koos Design; the renovation was done in stages (no full closure) with all three floors resurfaced on Saturday, October 1. Service includes Tuesday–Friday lunch starting at 11:30 a.m. (Mondays start at 4 p.m.), hours until midnight on weekdays and 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, weekend brunch from 10 a.m., and extended Sunday brunch until 6 p.m.; the first mimosa carafe is $20 per person and each subsequent glass is 50 cents (with a minimum of one entree per person)." - Tierney Plumb
