Metro Atlanta restaurants: Cuban Sandwich and Coffee Shop Cubanos ATL Opens in Cumming, Georgia | Eater Atlanta

"Opened in August 2020, the takeout-only Sandy Springs outpost operates from a custom-built tiny house in the parking lot of a small retail plaza on Roswell Road that owner Ozzy Llanes designed and built himself, and it quickly gained a following with lines often snaking around the lot at lunch. I learned that Llanes, Cuban-born and having moved to Atlanta from Miami more than a decade ago, opened the shop after searching for a decent Cuban sandwich in the metro area. The menu centers on four family-recipe sandwiches — the traditional El Miami; the El Tampa with roast pork, ham, salami, pickles, and Swiss; the El Pollo, a chicken sandwich mixed with aioli and topped with pickles and Swiss; and a media noche — all served on La Segunda Central Bakery bread; the shop also serves breakfast and Cuban coffee and coffee drinks.
