"Executive chef Rahaf Amer will spearhead the culinary offerings at East Hill Row’s casual neighborhood bar Walden, which opened in March. Amer arrives from Salt & Vine, which closed abruptly earlier this month. She had been their executive chef since January, when she was promoted from sous chef. Amer, the daughter of two Syrian immigrants, recently curated a five-course meal at Nashville’s Food From Inside the Travel Ban event. Walden will soon feature an expanded menu from Amer to include a broader variety of small plates. The limited current menu offers hummus, salad, tacos, sandwiches, and pizzas.
