"Opening Wednesday, October 29 in Chelsea, this Tim League–led project debuts 20 private screening rooms for groups of four to twenty, each outfitted with recliners, surround sound, and table service from chef Joshua Guarneri (Breslin, Hearth and Hound, Bar Avalon in LA). Guests can book a room—for example, $300 for four to six people at 7:45 p.m.—then choose a themed multi-course dinner tied to films like Wicked: For Good or The Big Lebowski, or opt for a seasonal menu featuring kampachi crudo, mushroom risotto, peri peri prawns, and a dessert trio; beverage pairings run $25 to $50 per person or can be ordered a la carte. That puts the experience at roughly $1,200 for dinner and a movie for a party of six (about $200 per person). The complex also includes a public cocktail lounge, the Bar with No Name, and upcoming special dinners include $125-per-person Planes, Trains, and Automobiles on Thanksgiving and a duck dinner for A Christmas Story on December 24 and 25." - Melissa McCart
