"Ziggy’s Kielbasa House is a new Polish-American restaurant located in Leander, Texas. Opened in late August, it offers a casual counter-service deli experience with a focus on kielbasa, a large smoked pork sausage available in various styles including original, cheddar, serrano pepper, and kabanosy (snack sticks). The menu also includes kielbasa patties, brats, pasztet (a baked pork loaf), roasted pork loins, and pierogies with various fillings like potato/onion, potato/bacon/cheddar, sauerkraut/mushroom, and sweet cheese. Sides include potato pancakes, pickles, and sernik (Polish cheesecake), along with house-made sauces. Founded by Andy and Susie Szymczyk, who moved from the northeast to Austin, the restaurant's offerings are based on their family recipes. Ziggy’s is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday." - Nadia Chaudhury
