"Housed on the 66th and 67th floors of the Willis Tower, the Metropolitan is a newly revamped, 40,000-square-foot private club that combines member-only restaurant and lounge spaces with plenty of co-working space (the co-working portion is expected to be finished in September). Metropolitan GM Simona Blaugh says the menus are a tribute to all 77 Chicago neighborhoods, drawing inspiration from places like Chicago’s French Market and Revival Food Hall; opening part of the space to the public is intended to encourage new members and to showcase the tower’s views. The club debuted member-only spots Craftsman and Frame on June 21 as part of the makeover, while a public component (the East Room) uses the same menus for dinner service." - Ashok Selvam
