"A Charlestown-based Thai and sushi restaurant opened a second location at 697 Centre St. in Jamaica Plain (the former Wonder Spice Cafe), officially debuting on May 14, 2019. The new spot pairs fresh, authentic Thai dishes with bright sushi offerings and a beverage program that includes beers from Thailand, Japan, and the United States, plus wine and sake. The dining room seats nearly 50 diners, and the restaurant operates Monday–Thursday with lunch (11:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.) and dinner (4:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m.), Friday–Saturday with extended dinner hours (4:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.), and Sunday from noon–9:30 p.m. (serving the dinner menu). Owner Pichai Chairatthanawanit said the team chose Jamaica Plain because they love the neighborhood’s energy, diversity, and strong sense of community, and that the available location and size were ideal for expansion." - Terrence Doyle
