Sonic Restaurant in Dearborn Starts Slinging Halal-Certified Food - Eater Detroit
"Despite the frequent missteps of fellow chains that have claimed to offer halal food, a Sonic restaurant at 10403 Ford Rd. in Dearborn is unveiling several halal menu items in an effort to appeal to the city’s large Muslim community. The Sonic went through the process of being halal certified, WDIV reports. Halal meats are processed under guidelines prescribed by Islamic law.
