"Opened to the public with 10 original brews in a taproom at 1300 S. Polk Street, this neighborhood’s first craft brewery is housed inside Tyler Station, a 110,000-square-foot industrial space repurposed into a co-working hub for creatives, artists and brewers. Founder and general manager Joel Denton, a third-generation Oak Cliff resident who left the corporate world to reconnect with his community, launched the project after committing to the idea in 2015 and framed it as bringing much-needed “craft beer love” to Oak Cliff. He highlights a core-four lineup—Black Lager, Export Lager, Farmhouse Saison and Oak Cliff IPA—as approachable, light, drinkable beers meant to appeal to both newcomers and craft aficionados. The taproom maintains weekend-forward hours (Thu 5–9pm; Fri 3–9pm; Sat noon–9pm; Sun noon–6pm) and plans community-focused events such as family movie nights and live music, with updates posted to its Facebook page." - Payton Potter
