"Poised to open on the east side of Dallas in the former Luby’s space on Mockingbird at Norris Street, Birdie’s Eastside is projected for winter 2023 and promises a very large, family-friendly footprint: seating for over 250 diners, a 7,000-square-foot outdoor patio with an adults-only resort-style bar and a kids’ play area, all on 2.2 acres. Owner Jon Alexis of Imperial Fizz Hospitality says the concept aims to give the neighborhood a “no-wait” option.
