"Across from Damas, a new street-food counter opened at the end of March offering no seating and a compact takeout menu that includes burgers made with sujok-spiced beef, quail eggs, raw sheep cheese and tomato jam; roasted lamb shoulder shawarma with biwaz, grilled tomatoes, tahini and pomegranate molasses wrapped in saj; a range of other sandwiches; and several takeout-friendly favourites from the Damas repertoire, including a wide selection of hot and cold mezze.
