"A live music venue that’s aiming to fit quite a few roles opens Friday, May 10, in Somerville’s Union Square. The Jungle will offer a smorgasbord of activities, including concerts, cycling, cocktails, and community events. Owner and manager Sam Epstein designed the venue to accommodate music performances, dining, drinking, community events, and cycling classes with a live band. The beverage options include beer, wine, and a large selection of cocktails. The food menu includes wings, tater tot nachos, hummus and veggies, a turkey club, a veggie burger, Buffalo chicken grilled cheese, and salad. There will be cycling classes, open mic nights, group music lessons, and traditional rock club lineups. The Jungle is a 21-and-up venue with a capacity for 85 people." - Dana Hatic
