"One of Italy's most recognizable dessert shops, Gelateria Fatamorgana, is planning a new Beverly Hills scoop shop after signage I spotted in a South Beverly Drive window revealed the former retail space is under construction; the company expects to open sometime around March of 2019. Already popular in Studio City, Fatamorgana is known for a wide menu of over 60 flavors, including more than two dozen vegan options, and its three Rome locations are local favorites and tourist hits that draw long lines during the peak summer travel season.
