"Landing at the junction of Fir and Kettner in the Broadstone building, Roman Wolves is putting the finishing touches on a completely redesigned 4,000-square-foot corner that replaces The Heights; the space now features a larger bar and lounge centered on cocktails made with Italian spirits and a variety of lower-ABV spritzes, and decor that mixes elements of ancient Rome with contemporary, Rome-inspired details. Owner Nino Cusimano (who also runs Rusticucina) and chef Enrico de Santis have built a menu dedicated to Roman cuisine, including cacio e pepe, pasta carbonara, saltimbocca, pinsa alla mortazza (Roman-style flatbread folded around mortadella), and suppli (rice balls). When it opens in February, the restaurant will serve dinner nightly, offer lunch on weekends, and run a daily afternoon happy hour." - Candice Woo
