"A local favorite for nearly 20 years, Snarf’s Sandwiches began in “The Shack” in Boulder and after its original location closed in 2007 moved to 2128 Pearl St.; that Pearl St. shop closed again on March 27 to make way for new condominiums. Jimmy “Snarf” Seidel asked customers to leave their memories on a community chalkboard that will find a home in the new location, and the shop ran a fundraiser where, for a $5 donation, customers could get an Italian, turkey, ham, roast beef, or veggie sandwich with chips and a drink to benefit Attention Homes. The chain has grown to more than 20 locations spanning Denver, Austin and St. Louis, and the menu features award-winning, oven-toasted sandwiches in addition to salads, soups and desserts, with online ordering, delivery and catering available via their website." - Susan Stapleton
