"Located in the Murray Golf House overlooking the links at the Bobby Jones Golf Course in Buckhead, this upscale New American restaurant opened to the public on Saturday, September 5 and serves a seasonally driven menu by executive chef Austin Rocconi inspired by his time in California, Texas, Mississippi, and Georgia. Highlights include a Gulf shrimp roll with eggplant mayo and brown butter, medallions of steak, saffron tagliatelle tossed with summer vegetables, olive oil and basil, and a cauliflower steak topped with rice risotto, mushrooms, and olives. Cocktails lean into whiskey, bourbon, and gin, including a peach-infused bourbon riff on the Bobby Jones cocktail and a raspberry-infused gin fizz. Seating is limited inside the dining room, on a covered patio, and on a veranda overlooking the course; servers are required to wear masks, and local enforcement of the city mask mandate on the property remains unclear. Run by the Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation and designed as part of a Savannah College of Art and Design student project, the restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner (brunch forthcoming), and reservations are encouraged." - Beth McKibben
