"Toro’s interior has been recently renovated and its menu reimagined. Chef Richard Sandoval’s restaurant at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort now caters to a variety of tastes with Latin diasporic dishes informed by Japanese and Chinese ingredients and approaches. There’s options for sushi, ceviche, and even a 42-ounce tomahawk steak, but also find interesting touches like Tajín breadcrumbs on the macaroni and cheese or lobster fried rice flecked with chorizo. What’s more interesting is where the restaurant is located: Situated at the 18th hole of TPC Scottsdale’s Stadium Course and not on the hotel’s main property, the resort has a dedicated shuttle to take guests to and from the restaurant. It also means that Toro caters to golfers coming off their rounds, so the drinks menu here is on point. Find a large selection of rum, agave spirits, and whiskey to drink neat or in cocktails like the East Meets West with Japanese whisky, turmeric, and cacahuate liqueur or the Cuatro Coco’s with two different rums, pineapple, lemongrass, and clarified coconut milk." - Asonta Benetti
