New Irving Tex-Mex Spot Serves Margaritas With A Side of Cultural Appropriation | Eater Dallas

"Debuting in Irving as a new Tex‑Mex joint and described by the piece as “a new destination for chilaquiles and cultural appropriation,” this restaurant inside the Texican Court hotel at 501 West Las Colinas Boulevard offers a straightforward Tex‑Mex menu from chef Patrick Hildebrandt of the Houston‑based Valencia Group, including chilaquiles, smoked barbacoa tostadas, cochinita pibil and tortas for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hildebrandt said the menu is influenced by Spanish, Mexican, Native American and cowboy cultures and is a "flavor powerhouse" of cilantro, chilies, lime and avocado.
