"Opening on Saturday 12 May, the new flagship brewpub in Tower Hill is the Aberdeenshire brewery’s largest stand-alone bar with capacity for 500 and — uniquely in the UK outside the company’s Ellon HQ — will produce beers on site. The venue features 25 beers on tap, three deli fridges for takeaway, an automated growler-filling system, an arcade area with three shuffleboards, and a large terrace; it will serve breakfast and brunch and later switch to pizza, burgers and wings. Reflecting the brand’s publicity-driven personality, the pub is launching a gimmick inviting live dogs to help “design beer.” The opening accompanies wider expansion plans in London and comes as the independently owned company highlights recent fundraising and senior hires while also being known for high-profile PR stunts and occasional controversies." - Adam Coghlan
