"A new late-night pizza spot is coming to Uptown courtesy of the minds behind Village Burger Bar, El Fenix, Meso Maya, and more. The spot, appropriately named Uptown Pizza, will debut at 1845 Woodall Rodgers Freeway according to an application made with TABC for a late night mixed beverage permit. It will be located inside the same building that houses Village Burger Bar across from Klyde Warren Park. The manager listed on the filings is Michael Karns, CEO of Firebird Restaurant Group." - Alaena Hostetter
