"Debuting at Town Square, I observed that this Southern California customized-salad concept opened in The Landing retail annex as its first Nevada franchise in a 1,515-square-foot, counter-service space. Founded by CEO Mark Kulkis in Burbank in 2011 and grown to more than 17 locations, the operation specializes in finely chopped ingredients served in bowls or wraps (paired with soup and warm pretzel sticks), offers more than 40 customization options, and prepares each meal in just over three minutes. Diners can choose pre-selected combinations built on a house mix of iceberg lettuce and spinach — including barbecue chicken, tuna, chicken with creamy chipotle, Caesar, Cobb, and Greek — or opt for warm “chopurritos” with a cilantro lime rice base in Italian garlic or Southwestern flavors; custom creations are stacked with greens, grains, six different toppings, and finished with 20 varieties of dressing.
