"After 20 years of operating spots across Massachusetts, Life Alive Organic Cafe is opening its first location outside the Bay State by the end of 2024 at 2301 M St. NW in the West End. The new cafe will focus on using seasonal ingredients in warm grain bowls, salads, ramen-style noodle dishes, and acai bowls, and will include bright colors, eclectic art, and cozy spots where you can escape from the work day or keep your nose to the grindstone, with free Wi-Fi and lots of outlets. The growing vegetarian chain has already expanded to 10 locations, aided in part by guidance and investment from Ron Shaich (founder of Panera and Au Bon Pain), who is investing in several Boston-based restaurants including Life Alive and Tatte Bakery & Cafe." - Emily Venezky
