Mysterious Dupont Lounge Eyes February Opening | Eater DC

"I saw a sign at 1730 M Street NW announcing Abigail, a new late-night — and possibly all-day — lounge nightlife impresario David Chung is installing in the subterranean space vacated by Buckeye + Bear. A notice on the window instructs delivery services to drop packages at the lobby in the adjoining office building, and inside a glowing screen teases what appears to be an interactive photobooth; otherwise the space remains a mystery until Abigail formally debuts next month. The venue's social pages don't reveal much: the company website shows only an outline of a hummingbird in mid-flight, the Facebook page calls it a “beautiful and luxurious lounge” with a “very ostentatious” namesake, and despite zero photos so far over four dozen followers have already locked on to Abigail's Instagram account." - Warren Rojas
