"On July 8 the restaurant's manager called police to report a group of 'young black men' had dined and left without paying; officers later located a group of 10 incoming college freshmen walking to a transit station, some of whom produced receipts, and the manager informed officers that none of the students had been among the diners who allegedly skipped out.
