"This daytime small Hawaiian “island-style” shop, which has been in its Ocean Beach location for several years, is run by a cousin and two brothers whose family has a longtime poke shop on Oahu. The poke varieties include shoyu ahi and kimchi shrimp, and rotating specials like ahi limu, which is chopped ahi tuna mixed with seaweed. In addition to the poke, the restaurant also serves traditional Hawaiian kalua pig and chicken long rice soup at lunchtime. Order at the counter at this tiny joint with no seating and take it a block away for beachside dining." - Helen I. Hwang
