"Founded as a Bastrop restaurant focused on Mexican cuisine from the San Diego and Baja California regions, the concept expanded into Austin in July 2021 by taking over an Italian sandwich shop; the original Bastrop location later closed and one co‑founder departed. The remaining owner has since continued growing the brand regionally, opening additional locations including one in Buda, and operates the new all‑day East Sixth spot through his hospitality group." - Nadia Chaudhury
