"Local knifemakers are hosting free chef-led knife skills demos every Saturday at 11 a.m. from November 30 to December 21. The classes will cover the following topics: breaking down a chicken with chef Greg Smith on November 30; knife sharpening with whetstones with the shop’s cofounder Eytan Zias on December 7; breaking down fish with chef Colin Yoshimoto on December 14; and choosing the right knife to chop produce with chef Aaron Adams on December 21.
