"Dating back to 1865 along Clear Creek in Golden, the mill building most recently operated as a livestock feed and supply store and, after it closed last spring, was purchased by three local couples who said they wanted to keep the Mill as a community gathering place rather than see it turned into condos. The new owners—Susan and Wes Ganter, John and Amy McLain, and Don and Jayme Martin—have partnered with Denver-based Eclectic Collective (whose previous projects include Stanley Marketplace, the Source, Zeppelin Station, and Avanti Food & Beverage) and plan to open Golden Mill in late 2019 as a roughly 6,000-square-foot space housing a coffee shop, a central bar, multiple food vendors, and event and community spaces." - Josie Sexton
