"I discovered Miami's first NFT-inspired restaurant, which blends Cuban counter-service dining with the world of NFTs. It serves breakfast and an all-day menu of classic ventanita staples such as croquetas, empanadas, and tostadas, alongside playful offerings like ape-inspired monkey and banana nut bread, a Cuban-style pop tart with guava and cream cheese topped with condensed milk icing, acai bowls, and breakfast sandwiches. The all-day menu highlights “pixas,” Cuban flatbreads including a Cubano pixa with ham, roasted pork, cheese, mustard sauce, and pickles, and a lechon pixa with shredded pork, chimichurri sauce, plantains, and mozzarella; there’s also a Build Your Pixa option plus various sandwiches, wraps, bowls, and sides like black bean soup and mac and cheese. The drink menu features batidos, smoothies, cafecitos, and guava lemonade. The concept was born in 2022 when Eric Castellanos traded for a Bored Ape NFT—creating a guayabera-wearing, cigar-smoking mascot named Manolo—and the restaurant will offer limited-edition merchandise in collaboration with DeepSleep Studio and artist Friks84.
